Natural Black Mother of Pearl Blooming Rose Pendant/Brooch with CZ-studded Leaves in Rhodium-Plated Sterling Silver (18" twisted black satin necklace cord included).
This blooming rose petal motif pendant and brooch from Hong Kong is made of gem-quality natural black mother of pearl that was hand-carved from a single black-lipped oyster shell. The raw shell and lining were polished to illuminate the billowy rainbow iridescence sometimes seen in fine mother of pearl (called "orient").
The carving is supported by a sturdy open back mounting and 5 sparkly CZ-studded leaf accents that float over the outer edges of the rose to securely hold it in place. All clear faceted round Cubic Zirconia stones are prong set.
The metal is solid 925 sterling silver plated with white rhodium for tarnish resistance.
Diameter: Slightly over 1.5 inches.
This piece can be worn as a Pendant or a Pin. The bail on the backside of the pendant will easily accommodate a chain or cord at least up to 4mm thickness.
