Arpaia Shipping Policies
A. Orders Processed only for Shipments within domestic United States locations
We do not process online orders nor accept online payments for orders shipped to areas outside domestic United States locations. Please contact Arpaia Jewelry for assistance if you wish to place an order to be shipped to a location outside of the United States.
B. Order Processing Time is Separate from Shipping Time
We do our best to process all orders within 2 - 4 business days from date order placed. However, Made to Order items, Special Orders, and Custom Orders take time to fabricate or obtain before ready to ship. Special Orders and Made to Order items typically take 2 weeks to ship but could take longer depending on available stock and our production schedule. We keep purchasers apprised of estimated shipping and delivery dates. With respect to Custom Orders, we keep clients informed of project status and shipping at appropriate times.
Business days are Monday through Friday except National Holidays.
We insure, inspect, and package every order with proper due care. Order processing includes merchandise selection, inspection, and packaging, internal checks and systems, and delivery of parcel to carrier for shipment.
We will send an email notification if there is any delay in processing order.
Finally, typically we do not enclose packing slips, receipts, or gift receipts in our outgoing packages. Your receipt is emailed to you at time of purchase. Please let us know if you do want a receipt or gift receipt enclosed in your package.
C. Complimentary Uninsured Free Ground Shipping on All Orders
We offer complimentary uninsured standard ground shipping to domestic United States locations on all orders. Currently, we do not accept online orders to other countries.
Free shipping is typically by standard ground service using any carrier of our choice. Arpaia Jewelry ships from the State of Connecticut USA. Depending on the shipping zone of the package is to be delivered to, standard ground shipping time can take from 3 to 10 business days, or longer. For our convenience, and solely at our option and discretion, however, we reserve the right to free ship any order using a faster shipping method.
This Free Shipping offer may be amended or cancelled at any time without notice.
No Coupon Code Required: Free shipping will be automatically applied to your order at checkout.
D. Special Handling
If you require a particular carrier or have other special handling request(s), please specify the details in the comment section of your order during checkout, or contact us by email or phone (203) 772-4643 with your request. We will let you know if there is any extra charge for the requested special handling service(s).
E. Upgrade to Insured Priority or Priority Express Delivery
If you desire insured priority/express shipping of your order, you will have the option to upgrade to a faster shipping method during checkout. The upgrade charge will be added to the total amount of your order. Arpaia Jewelry ships from Connecticut State. Depending on where the order is to be delivered, Priority shipping takes 1-3 business days within the Continental United States, and can take longer to other US domestic locations. Priority Express overnight delivery is 1 business day within the Continental United States, and can take longer to other domestic US locations. While Priority and Priority Express delivery refer to USPS as carrier, for our convenience and at our sole discretion, we may ship using a different carrier, such as FedEx or UPS, using a shipping method of same or faster shipping time.
Please keep in mind that Priority and Priority Express shipping does not change our normal order processing time. If you require expedited processing in addition to express shipping, please follow the Special Handling instructions above.
F. We May Require Direct Signature
To ensure secure delivery of a package, we reserve the right to require a Direct Signature with respect to any shipment. Purchasers may instruct Arpaia Jewelry in writing to waive any signature requirement in the comments section at checkout or by separate email, in which event, purchaser assumes all shipping risk for lost parcel or damaged merchandise.
G. Complimentary Gift Wrap
Each piece of Arpaia jewelry arrives in an appropriate gift box.
In addition, we offer complimentary gift wrap. We will gift wrap any item at no charge. In your shopping cart, simply check the GIFT selection by the item(s) you wish gift-wrapped.
Also, if you wish to enclose a complimentary note for any item, please complete the Gift Box Message box.
H. Please Check Your Order Immediately Upon Receipt For Shipping Damage
Prior to shipment, each item of Arpaia jewelry is carefully inspected to ensure that the piece is free from defect and in pristine condition. Each piece is separately padded and gift boxed for protection and to minimize movement during shipment. In addition, you may choose to insure the contents of your package by choosing an upgraded shipping service at checkout.
I. Damaged Shipments / Express Limitations.
Despite our careful efforts, damage can occur during shipment. Accordingly, you may wish to upgrade to an insured shipping method in lieu of free shipping. We encourage all customers to inspect packages immediately upon receipt. If the shipping box appears damaged in any respect whatsoever (such as a hole, opening, tear, break, crushed spot, or crinkled area, etc.), please ask the carrier to make note of the damage to the box and open the package in front of the carrier to see if in fact any shipping damage did occur to the contents. If shipping damage did occur, the carrier will advise you how to proceed if you elected upgraded shipping to insure the contents of your shipment.
Purchaser understands that carrier insurance is the only form of recovery for lost parcels or receipt of damaged merchandise. Arpaia Jewelry is not responsible for any shipping damage, errors, or lost shipments, and we do not issue replacement or refund for lost parcels or merchandise damaged in transit.
Arpaia Return Policies
A. 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
We want you to adore your Arpaia jewelry! If you do not love an item for any reason whatsoever, simply return it for a prompt and courteous refund, no questions asked.
You may return any item of Arpaia Jewelry, except you may not return earrings (for hygienic reasons), special orders, custom jewelry, customized jewelry (sized or engraved jewelry, etc.), or made to order items.
This full satisfaction guarantee does not pertain to items damaged during shipment. Recovery for shipping damage is supplied by carrier insurance if you upgraded the shipping method (see above Shipping Policies, section H).
To obtain refund, please follow all below return process instructions and meet all below conditions for return.
B. Return Process
- Contact Arpaia Jewelry for Return Authorization Number (RMA): Send email to sales@ArpaiaJewelry.com or phone (203) 772-4643. We will not process any return without a return authorization number.
- Return Item within 7 days of receipt (time period includes weekends and holidays).
- Include a copy of invoice and all original packaging.
- Ship return by USPS to: Arpaia Jewelry, P.O. Box 555, New Haven, CT 06513
- Insure Package for Full Value. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs. We recommend that you insure return shipment for full purchase price of returned merchandise, as we are not responsible for undelivered parcel or goods damaged during return shipment.
- Please allow 2 - 3 weeks to process return. Once your return has been processed, it may take an additional 2 - 3 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card or Paypal statement.
- With respect to free-shipped items, please note that the returned merchandise amount to be refunded will be reduced by shipping and handling charges incurred in processing and shipping order to purchaser. For merchandise shipped by paid upgraded shipping, the refund amount will equal the purchase price of the returned merchandise.
C. Conditions for Return
Any returned item must be unworn and in original, brand new, pristine condition. All metal finishes, gemstones, and other materials must be free of any scratches or other surface marring or irregularities.
Worn or damaged items are not eligible for return.
Certain metals and other items used in jewelry may cause skin or other allergic reactions to the wearer. We cannot anticipate, nor are we responsible for, any adverse allergic and/or skin reactions to the metals or other materials used in jewelry sold on this site. Such reactions are not due to material defect of the jewelry, but rather, to a wearer’s personal condition. As a result, any worn item that causes skin or other allergic reaction is not eligible for return.
Any item bearing a NOT RETURNABLE IF REMOVED TAG may be returned only if the tag has not been removed.
Earrings, special orders, custom-designed jewelry, and items with custom alterations such as ring sizing are not returnable.
Recovery for items damaged during shipment is limited to carrier insurance as specified above in section H of Shipping Policies above.
D. Refund, Repair or Replacement of Defective Merchandise
We warranty all Arpaia jewelry to be free from manufacturer’s defects for thirty (30) days from date of purchase.
If your Arpaia jewelry is defective, we sincerely apologize and will refund the full purchase price upon return. Please follow the instructions below. In lieu of refund, please let us know if you prefer repair or replacement, and will let you know if that option is available in lieu of return for refund.
E. Process for Return of Defective Merchandise
- If you think your Arpaia jewelry is defective, within 30 days of purchase (the date stated on your confirmed order), please contact us by phone (203) 772-4643 or email at Sales@ArpaiaJewelry.com for return instructions. We will provide you with written return instructions delivered to your preferred email address.
- Follow the return instructions provided.
- Upon receipt of merchandise returned for defect, we will examine the piece to confirm defect and then notify you of issued refund (full purchase price).
If upon examination, we determine that the jewelry was not defective, but rather was damaged due to misuse or neglect, we are not responsible for the damage and cannot make refund. In that event, we might be able to repair or replace the item with your consent, and we would notify you of applicable costs and shipping charges.
